What packages do you offer?
We build every single wedding from scratch, so no packages here. Our local full service events start at $7,000, but we have options for all different size budgets including self setup and a la carte florals.
How involved can I be in the design process?
As little or as much as you’d like. We can help brainstorm and work with you to bring your vision to life regardless of how much you’ve thought things through aesthetically.
What if I have no clue what I want?
Totally fine, we’ll begin with an intro call to go over your ideas and vision, and create a custom proposal and mood board to pinpoint the look you’re going for.
Do you offer rentals like candles and arbors?
With our full service, we offer a range of rentals including arbors/chuppahs, vases/vessels, candles and holders. Check out our rentals page and catalog here for more info on our offerings.
Can I provide my own hard goods?
We’re open to it but due to logistics and sizing, we’ll discuss on a case-by-case basis. Most couples have been happy with our full service so they don’t have to worry about sourcing ahead of time and figuring out what to do with it once the event is over.
Do you do mockups?
Since we are not a retail florist, we only order product on an as-needed basis for our events and do not stock excess inventory in our studio. However, if you are interested in a mockup, we may be able to accommodate as an add-on to your quote. Feel free to inquire for your date.
Will you attend our walk through?
As long as you have a floor plan for us, we’re generally good to go without a walkthrough if its a venue we frequent. If we are not as familiar with and/or there are multiple installations at play, we may request to be on site for your walkthrough.
Can you do florals for my shower, etc?
Let’s chat (info@thurmanandfig.com). Our a la carte page is a great option for baby showers, bridal showers, and more. Limited dates are available so inquire early.
Can you guarantee you’ll have these specific flowers in my bouquet?
Although we can’t promise we will have any specific flower type or color due to availability and the nature of seasonality, we will try as hard as we can to source as close as possible to your vision. Not to worry, we are known to blow away all expectations the day of.
Do you travel?
The majority of our weddings are in the greater Baltimore and Maryland area, but we take a handful of weddings in DC, VA, DE and PA each year, with a $9,000 minimum for out-of-state events. If you are interested in an area not listed, feel free to reach out and we are happy to try to accommodate or refer you to our favorites in the industry.
